Finally

the weather is changing....the sky is grey, there's some fog in the air, it rained heavily yesterday evening and in the mornings and evenings it's now decidedly nippy...YES!!!! I love it.

Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate summer with bright light, hot rays and perfect beach weather, but there is such a thing as too much sun, too much humidity (especially here in NC) and seeing too many people in shorts (who shouldn't be wearing shorts, or should lose 50 lbs before they do).

Call me crazy, but I am looking forward to cold winter evenings, with a fire in the fireplace, a good glass of mulled wine, an old movie.. being curled up on the sofa. OK, I'm just an old romantic. ...and loving every minute of it. If I had my say, I'd make old-fashioned (european style) Christmas markets mandatory.....
