not my town

Just got back from a week of trade show in Las Vegas. It's definitely not my kind of town. That's the second time I came down with a bug there. This time a stomach flu that left me unable to eat anything for 3 days. I concur wholehartedly with the saying: what goes on in Vegas should stay in Vegas. In fact, they should fence in the area and keep the place confined.

The best thing about the trip was coming home and driving to the daycare to pick up my son. Seeing him jump up and down with joy when he saw me and have him come running in my arms, almost made the trip worthwhile...but not really.
